Estate cleanout questions
Plain answers about preparation, access, pricing inputs, restricted materials, and scheduling.
What belongs in an estate cleanout?
Ordinary household contents, furniture, boxed belongings, garage or basement items, and nonhazardous property debris can be discussed. The final scope must be confirmed.
What should we remove first?
Secure documents, cash, jewelry, medication, keys, photographs, family selections, and anything still under review.
How is pricing determined?
Mack’s states that pricing is based on truck space and confirmed before work begins. Volume, weight, stairs, access, carrying distance, and special handling also affect the job.
What materials need another outlet?
Fuel, propane, paint, chemicals, mercury devices, and unknown or leaking containers should not be mixed with ordinary debris. Check Erie County’s current household hazardous-waste guidance.
